Missions & Rewards
Optional geographic missions, NPC jobs, persistent-world objectives and protected Silver rewards.
Mission types
The 0.7 mission system supports mission patterns such as visiting areas, surveying, searching, fetch jobs, physical parcel delivery, investigating threats, clearing infected and objectives tied to persistent important entities.
Geographic validation
Mission targets are chosen from plausible nearby geography and validated server-side. The system does not trust client-supplied completion claims or use missions to reveal arbitrary hidden POIs.
Discoverable opportunities
Some opportunities enter the world through survivor-visible leads and world events. Timed supply-cache leads can materialise one shared authoritative event and real physical drop rather than creating a private magic crate for every player.
Fetch & delivery
Courier work uses a real Sealed Delivery Parcel. The exact physical item must be carried to the correct destination and handed over; it remains subject to ordinary inventory and proximity rules.
Rewards
Mission rewards can include finite physical items and Silver, the survivor-level gameplay currency. Reward settlement is idempotent and audited so browser retries cannot duplicate payouts.
Exploit protection
Mission completion, rewards and repeatability are protected by authoritative objective state, geographic checks, unique settlement records and bounded reward rules. Missions are designed to provide direction and variety rather than an infinite currency faucet.
